Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Omaha, NE

Work Locations: 162nd & Dodge and/or 72nd & Center

Job Type: Full-time Employee

Compensation: Hourly wage, based on experience

Experience Level: Intermediate (3-7 years)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (no weekends or holidays)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start Date: Immediately

We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. If you bring a Champion Spirit, a Patient-Centered Approach to Health Care, and a Joyful Attitude, we would love to meet you!

Position Overview

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role on our care team. We are looking for someone who is not only a strong individual performer but also enjoys working collaboratively. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, and eager to continuously learn and grow in their role.

Key Responsibilities

Measure and document vital signs
Obtain medication and medical history
Administer injections and perform venipuncture
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation
Assist with minor in-office procedures and exams
Prepare and room patients
Clean and stock exam rooms

Qualifications

Valid Nebraska Medication Aide License
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (AAMA or AMT)
