Perform MIG welding on carbon steel parts and assemblies

Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and weld symbols

Complete fit-up and fabrication of components to specification
-
Use tape measures, calipers, and other gauges to verify quality
-
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
-
Work with teammates to meet production and quality goals
-
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
-
2+ years of MIG welding experience
-
Experience welding carbon steel in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
-
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
-
Strong measuring and math skills, including reading a tape measure to 1/16"

Experience with fabrication, fit-up, and common shop tools
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Welding certification or technical training preferred

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work any shift as needed

Robotic welding

Flux core, TIG, stick, or arc welding

Structural steel, sheet metal, or mild steel fabrication

Jig and fixture building

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The pay range for this position is $47800.00 - $54080.00/yr.
