POSITION OVERVIEW
The Parts Business Manager – Fruit is responsible for the global commercial and inventory performance of the fruit spare parts business across all markets within the Fruit Division at Oxbo. This role owns forecasting, pricing and price strategy, discount governance, parts marketing and promotional strategy, and the strategic direction of inventory levels and parts lifecycle management.
The position is accountable for commercial and inventory outcomes—including margins, inventory turns, and obsolescence exposure—while serving as the strategic leader for parts performance. This role establishes targets, frameworks, and governance to align cross-functional teams and drive results across the business.
While accountable for performance outcomes, this role does not manage day-to-day parts operations. Execution of purchasing, replenishment, stock transfers, warehouse operations, and customer order fulfillment remains with regional and functional Parts Managers.
This position partners closely with Parts Sales, Parts Distribution, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Regional Leadership to ensure alignment and execution against strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Commercial Strategy & Business Planning
· Develops and owns the parts commercial strategy for Oxbo’s Fruit business, aligned with company growth, margin, and working capital objectives.
· Defines annual and multi-year parts revenue, margin, and inventory performance targets by geography and product portfolio.
· Leads annual and rolling demand forecasts, owning commercial assumptions and market inputs while partnering with Supply Chain and Parts Operations for execution planning.
Pricing & Discount Strategy
· Owns parts pricing strategy including list pricing, market and regional pricing structures, and price adjustments.
· Defines and manages discount strategy and governance, including frameworks, approval thresholds, and performance monitoring.
· Analyzes margin performance, competitive positioning, and customer behavior to continuously refine pricing and discount effectiveness.
· Monitors market share trends and competitive parts intelligence across regions, using insights on competitor pricing, availability, and go to market strategies to inform pricing, discount, and promotional decisions.
Inventory Strategy & Obsolescence Management
· Defines inventory strategy and target levels by product family and geography to balance customer service expectations, margin goals, and working capital efficiency.
· Partners with Supply Chain and Parts Operations to ensure inventory execution aligns with established targets and forecasts.
· Leads the strategic management of parts lifecycle and obsolescence, including:
· Identifies slow moving and at-risk inventory
· Develops drawdown, pricing, and promotional strategies
· Defines of end-of-life approaches for legacy and discontinued equipment
· Monitors excess and obsolete inventory exposure and recommends corrective commercial actions to reduce risk while maintaining customer uptime.
Parts Marketing & Promotion
· Defines and oversees parts marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth, improves inventory turns, and supports obsolescence reduction.
· Partners with Sales and Marketing to identify campaign priorities tied to seasonality, installed base, and inventory objectives.
· Measures promotion effectiveness and ROI, adjusting strategy based on margin, turn, and sell through performance.
Performance Management & KPIs
· Owns, monitors, and communicates key performance indicators, including: Parts availability and fill rates, Backorders and critical downtime parts, Gross margin %, Inventory turns, Obsolescence exposure, Revenue growth, Forecast accuracy
· Uses data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
Cross Functional Leadership
· Supports multiple regions and geographies with a consistent global framework in alignment with Oxbo’s strategy while allowing controlled regional flexibility.
· Acts as the commercial subject matter expert for fruit parts in planning cycles, leadership reviews, and strategic initiatives.
· Collaborates with Global Supply Chain to: Secure supplier capacity and reliability, Reduce lead times for critical service parts, Optimize cost and sourcing strategies (including dual sourcing where required)
· Supports make or buy decisions and reman / refurbishment strategies for spare parts
· Product Delivery Cycle & Engineering Interface
o Ensures spare parts readiness for: New product introductions (NPI), Platform updates and running changes, End of production and long term service commitments
o Works closely with Engineering and Product Management to: Improve serviceability and parts commonality, Reduce complexity and lifecycle cost, Ensure accurate parts documentation and BOM quality

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
· 8+ years of experience in aftermarket, or service operations, spare parts business, pricing, or commercial strategy roles in AG, off-highway OEM or large dealer environments.
· Demonstrated success improving gross margins, inventory turns, and obsolescence outcomes.
· Strong financial and analytical skills with experience using ERP systems and commercial or inventory data.
· Experience working across multiple geographies in a complex, matrixed organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Global business exposure, including working with international markets, suppliers, and distribution networks
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
· International and U.S. travel required (approx. 20%), with recurring presence in Washington and California
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
