Full-Time | Monday–Friday | In-Office

Lead a Growing Oral Surgery Practice

Valley Oak Oral Surgery & Dental Implants is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Practice Administrator / Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy oral surgery practice.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys building efficient systems, coaching teams, solving problems, and creating an exceptional patient experience. You'll work closely with the surgeon to ensure the practice operates smoothly while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture.

Compensation & Benefits

$30–$40+ per hour, depending on experience

ResponsibilitiesLeadership

Supervise, mentor, and support front office and administrative team members
Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork
Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing staff development
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
Serve as the primary liaison between the doctor and staff

Operations

Oversee day-to-day office operations and workflow
Develop and improve systems for efficiency and consistency
Monitor scheduling, patient flow, and administrative processes
Ensure policies and procedures are followed
Coordinate office meetings and maintain operational excellence

Patient Experience

Help create an outstanding patient experience from first phone call through post-operative care
Resolve patient concerns professionally and compassionately
Support treatment coordination and patient communication

Financial & Administrative

Oversee insurance and financial coordination processes
Monitor reports, collections, and office performance metrics
Assist with budgeting, referral relationships, and inventory management
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies

Qualifications

Oral surgery office management experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Experience with dental practice management software
Knowledge of insurance verification, treatment coordination, and patient financial arrangements
Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required
