Full Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving students and supporting speech-language pathologists in a dynamic educational environment. What You’ll Bring:

Valid SLPA license or certification (or eligibility) for practice in California
Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively
Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and age groups across K-12
Reliability, professionalism, and a nurturing attitude toward student growth
Great organizational skills to maintain service logs and documentation

What You’ll Do:

Support speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
Deliver direct and indirect speech and language interventions under supervision
Document student progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) preparation
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to promote student success
Assist with screenings, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials
Foster an encouraging environment for students needing speech and language support
