Gerente de Producción de Cocina

Houston, Texas | Potencial de ingresos de $70,000 a $90,000

My Fit Foods busca un líder culinario con experiencia para supervisar las operaciones diarias de nuestra cocina de producción en Houston.

Este no es un puesto de Chef Ejecutivo de restaurante ni un trabajo de oficina. Buscamos a alguien que disfrute formar equipos, crear estructura y liderar una cocina de producción de alto rendimiento, mientras se mantiene involucrado con las personas que realizan el trabajo.

Nuestras comidas se producen en grandes cantidades y se distribuyen a nuestras tiendas por lo que el éxito en este puesto depende de la excelencia operativa, la consistencia, el desarrollo del equipo y la ejecución.

Lo que buscamos

Buscamos un líder maduro con entre 5 y 10 años o más de experiencia progresiva en puestos de liderazgo dentro de operaciones de alimentos de alto volumen.

¡Se prefiere que sea bilingüe!

La experiencia puede provenir de:

Grupos corporativos de restaurantes
Hoteles o complejos turísticos
Cocinas de supermercados o comisariatos
Clubes de Campo

Manufactura de alimentos o cocinas de producción a gran escala

El candidato ideal entiende cómo se ven realmente las operaciones de excelencia. Sabe cómo establecer sistemas, responsabilizar a las personas por sus resultados, desarrollar líderes y mantener estándares elevados sin crear conflictos innecesarios.

Cómo se ve el éxito

Trabajarás en colaboración con dos Gerentes de Cocina actuales, cada uno de los cuales aporta fortalezas valiosas a la operación. Tu función será elevar el rendimiento de toda la cocina mediante mejoras en la ejecución, la consistencia, la comunicación y la responsabilidad.

Se espera que puedas:

Liderar la producción diaria manteniendo una presencia sólida en el piso.
Capacitar y desarrollar a supervisores y miembros del equipo.
Establecer expectativas claras y responsabilizar al equipo por sus resultados.
Mejorar el flujo operativo y la eficiencia laboral.
Mantener estándares excepcionales de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento.
Garantizar que las recetas, porciones, rendimientos y estándares de calidad se ejecuten de manera consistente.
Crear horarios y planes de personal que preparen al equipo para alcanzar el éxito.
Identificar los problemas antes de que se conviertan en emergencias.
Impulsar la mejora continua en lugar de simplemente mantener el estado actual de las operaciones.

Este es un puesto de liderazgo asalariado. Se requiere disponibilidad para trabajar los fines de semana, además de la flexibilidad necesaria para liderar una operación de producción.
