Account Executive – Refrigerant Gases

About the Company:

We are a family office with over three decades of experience in the wholesale refrigerant gas market. Our team takes pride in fostering long-standing, respectful relationships with customer, rooted in trust, transparency, and shared value. This position represents our ongoing commitment to professionalism and integrity in every customer relationship.

Position Summary:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for growing, maintaining, and nurturing relationships with customers who buy refrigerant gases. Some of these relationships have already been cultivated over a long period of time. Your role is to act as a professional, friendly, and consistent point of contact. Your primary goal is not aggressive sales, but rather acting as a partner in the refrigerant market—staying in regular contact, ensuring the customers are informed, and supplying them with refrigerant gases on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a portfolio of customers and serve as their primary point of contact.
Conduct monthly check-ins via phone, video calls, or email to ensure ongoing relationship growth.
Build trust through consistent, respectful, and transparent communication.
Document all interactions and update CRM systems with notes and insights.
Provide updates on market trends or relevant news that may impact the refrigerant gas market (training provided).
Collaborate closely with the management, operations, and administration team when a customer has issues to be resolved.
Represent the family office brand with integrity and professionalism at all times.
Maintain deep knowledge of each customers business and purchase history to personalize interactions.
Flag all opportunities to do business with customers.

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Proven experience in account management, client services, or a similar customer-facing role.
Excellent communication and listening abilities.
A natural curiosity and empathy-driven approach to conversations.
Experience or interest in industrial gases, HVAC, refrigeration, or wholesale distribution is a plus, but not required.
Comfort with CRM systems and managing follow-up schedules.
Self-starter with a high degree of personal integrity.
