Other Duties and Responsibilities:

LOAN PROCESSOR 1 – JOB # 40 -26

Examine received applications to be in compliance with current banking regulations and the banks’ policy & procedures. Maintain knowledge of the banks’ loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required for each loan. Organize and finalize applicants’ files (new/renewing) before uploading into Core system. Ensure files are complete for lien perfection.

All correspondence must refer to a specific job number.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect and review all required documentation for loan package prior for processing to be accurate and in compliance.
Work directly with front line staff and loan operations to process loan in a timely manner.
Request and review UCC searches for loans requiring in-house documents.
Work with team members to obtain escrow information as needed for new loans.
Order coupon books after loan is processed.
Remove final ACH payments as assigned.
Input loan maintenance when warranted.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete all daily tasks adhering to applicable regulation, policy, and procedures.
Assist team members with other loan inquiries, maintenance, and payoff requests.
Assist as needed with loan activity “Daily Transaction Report” for new loans funded, renewed, modified, advances, or paid off from prior day.
Distribute and process daily reports as required.
Act as back up for other team members.
All other duties and projects are assigned by the department supervisor or manager

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education preferred, and/or related work experience.

2 years of banking experience or related background.

Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal skills required to have a working relationship with superiors, peers, and subordinates. Strong organizational skills and attention to details. Knowledge of loan terminology and the ability to interpret organizational documents. The ability to prioritize and multi-task a variety of loan types with a range of complexity. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
