Full Job Description

The IONM Technologist plays a critical role in the surgical team by monitoring the functional integrity of neural structures during high-risk surgeries. This position involves working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other operating room staff to help reduce the risk of neurological injury.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, calibrate, and operate neuromonitoring equipment prior to and during surgical procedures.
Monitor neurophysiological data in real-time, including EEG, EMG, SSEP, BAEP, and MEP as appropriate for each procedure.
Communicate findings promptly and effectively to the surgical team and supervising physician.
Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of monitoring data and intraoperative events.
Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Neurodiagnostics, Neuroscience, or equivalent).
Completion of an accredited IONM training program preferred.
Certification (CNIM) strongly preferred
Experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring strongly preferred, but new graduates with clinical rotations will be considered.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with attention to detail and patient safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
