Job Title: Post Closer – Investor Audit & Condition Clearance
Department: Mortgage Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

This role supports the resolution of post-purchase conditions by working with investors conditions to get loans purchased.

The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of the mortgage process and be comfortable handling loan documents, timelines, and follow-ups with both internal departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Review investor audit findings and help gather required documents to clear post-purchase conditions.
Work with internal teams such as underwriting, funding, and compliance to obtain necessary documentation.
Maintain up-to-date tracking of loan conditions and ensure timely follow-up to avoid delays.
Communicate with investors and respond to document requests in a professional and timely manner.

Basic Qualifications

Familiarity with standard mortgage documents such as the Note, Closing Disclosure, and Title documents.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files at once.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and stay on top of timelines.
Have knowledge of the entire mortgage process

Preferred but Not Required

Experience with Encompass
Understanding of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or government loan programs (FHA, VA, USDA).
