Overview

Escape 360 Cafe is a growing hospitality brand committed to delivering exceptional bakery and café products with outstanding quality and consistency. We are seeking an experienced Baker who is passionate about baking, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Bakery Assistant to join our growing team. This role will primarily operate in our warehouse kitchen, with occasional shifts in our retail store. The ideal candidate will support our Head Baker in executing a consistent weekly production schedule while also contributing fresh ideas and innovative flavors to our menu. Our menu features Asian-inspired cakes such as Young Coconut Cake, Mango Passion Fruit Cake, and Earl Grey Matcha Cake that captures our Asian Brand.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about baking, thrives in a structured yet creative environment, and is excited to grow with a fast-expanding brand.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support: Assist the Head Baker in preparing and baking cakes according to the weekly production schedule for all locations.
Baking Execution: Accurately follow recipes and production guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
Innovation & Creativity: Develop and propose new cake flavors and concepts; approved items may be featured on the menu.
Preparation (Mise en Place): Measure, prep, and organize ingredients ahead of production.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards in taste, presentation, and consistency of all baked goods.
Food Safety & Sanitation: Follow all food safety procedures, including proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment and workspace.
Inventory Assistance: Help monitor ingredient levels and communicate restocking needs.
Retail Support (as needed): Assist in-store with setup and product display.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Baker and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 year of baking experience (required)
Strong understanding of basic baking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to follow structured production schedules while maintaining attention to detail
Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and innovate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment

Additional Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
Authorization to work in the United States
