We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integration and separation initiatives from an IT perspective. This role will manage a portfolio of at least 8 interconnected sub-projects tied to manufacturing footprint changes, including manufacturing transfers to other sites, one site expansion, one greenfield site launch, one brownfield site addition, and the closure of two manufacturing sites.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IT program/project management, manufacturing systems, infrastructure deployment, ERP coordination, cybersecurity, and cross-functional business transformation. This role requires close partnership with business leaders, plant leadership, operations, supply chain, engineering, finance, HR, and third-party partners to ensure seamless execution with minimal disruption to production and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Program and Project Leadership
Manage a complex program consisting of 8 or more sub-projects with dependencies across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, plant systems, and business operations.
Build and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, RAID logs, budget tracking, and executive status reporting.
Coordinate integration, separation, transition, and site transformation activities across multiple locations.
Ensure alignment of IT deliverables with overall transaction timelines and operational readiness requirements.
Sub-Project Oversight
The Project Manager will coordinate and oversee sub-projects such as:
1. Manufacturing transfer from “Site A” to alternate production sites
2. Expansion of one existing manufacturing site
3. Deployment of one new greenfield manufacturing site
4. IT enablement of one brownfield manufacturing site
5. Closure and IT decommissioning of Manufacturing “Site A”
6. M&A integration/separation of enterprise and plant IT systems
Additional workstreams may include:
Network and infrastructure deployment

ERP and manufacturing application cutover coordination
OT/IT coordination for plant-floor technologies

Manufacturing and Plant IT Coordination
Partner with plant stakeholders to define IT requirements for production transfers, expansions, and new site launches.
Coordinate readiness for core manufacturing technologies, including network connectivity, workstation deployment, label printing, scanners, shop-floor terminals, server/cloud connectivity, backup solutions, and site communications.
Ensure manufacturing operations can continue with minimal downtime during transitions.
Support planning for plant-specific applications and interfaces, including ERP, quality systems, warehouse systems, and reporting tools.
M&A Integration and Separation
Lead IT due diligence support, Day 1 readiness planning, TSA execution, and post-close integration/separation activities.
Identify impacted systems, users, sites, data flows, interfaces, and infrastructure components.
Coordinate carve-outs, migrations, and system onboarding/offboarding as required.
Support legal, compliance, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements during transactions.
Site Closures and Decommissioning
Develop and execute IT shutdown and decommissioning plans for two manufacturing site closures.
Coordinate asset recovery, data archival, access removal, circuit disconnects, hardware redeployment/disposal, and vendor termination activities.
Ensure proper documentation, risk mitigation, and business continuity through closure activities.
Risk, Governance, and Communication
Proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change impacts.
Escalate critical path issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
Provide concise executive communication, steering committee updates, and stakeholder reporting.
Drive governance across cross-functional teams and external implementation partners.

The evening rounds out with handoffs and forward planning as the APAC teams sign on for the day. The manager reviews RAIDD logs and weekly status reports to verify that any escalated transition issues from the previous 24 hours were properly handled. The day closes out by finalizing the global action register and preparing briefing updates for the upcoming morning cycles across the different time zones.
