Charter Sales Executive | Landry & Kling Global Ship Solutions

Global Leaders in Cruise Meetings, Events, Incentive Travel Around the World

Location: Remote – Florida Preferred

Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Charter Sales Executive to lead the continued growth of our legacy charter business. This is an outstanding opportunity for a polished, relationship-driven sales executive with deep connections within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) industry.

We are looking for someone who understands the unique value of cruise charter experiences and has the credibility, confidence, and executive presence to represent one of the industry's most respected organizations. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating position focused on expanding charter sales through strategic partnerships, industry networking, and consultative business development.

This position has a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions and full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities with corporations, incentive houses, meeting planners, associations, and third-party event partners.
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that drive charter revenue growth.
Maintain and expand relationships within FICP, MPI, SITE, PCMA, IAEE, and other MICE organizations.
Represent Landry & Kling at industry conferences, networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers responsible for incentive travel, meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
Develop customized charter solutions in collaboration with cruise line partners and internal teams.
Lead complex sales negotiations from prospecting through contract execution.
Maintain an active sales pipeline while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the sales process.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities within the charter marketplace.

Qualifications:

Three (3)+ years sales experience in cruise charter sales, incentive travel, luxury travel, hospitality, meetings, and/or corporate event sales.
Demonstrated success selling high-value experiences or complex B2B solutions.
Existing relationships within the MICE industry.
Active involvement with organizations such as: Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA) or similar organizations.
Exceptional business development and consultative selling skills.
Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Confidence engaging with corporate leadership, and meeting professionals.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-value opportunities simultaneously.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings, industry conferences, and business development activities.
