Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as an Entry Level Construction Framer and kick-start your career in the building industry! In this role, you will be an essential part of assembling and installing structural frameworks that form the backbone of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position offers hands-on experience with a variety of construction techniques, tools, and materials, providing a solid foundation for future growth in construction management or specialized trades. Responsibilities
- Assist in framing structures using wood, metal studs, or other materials according to blueprints and schematics
- Erect metal buildings and install structural components with precision and safety awareness
- Perform concrete forming tasks, including setting up forms and preparing for concrete pouring
- Install rebar reinforcement to ensure structural integrity of concrete elements
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble framing components efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Support masonry, roofing, siding, stucco, trim carpentry, and drywall installation as needed on various projects
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving large materials
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while ensuring quality standards are met
Experience
- Prior experience on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry or masonry is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic construction equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, or technical drawings enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices on previous job sites or training programs is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude will help you thrive in our team environment
