(ARF) Administrator Assistant

Gain Hands-On Experience While Making a Difference!

JNP Residential LLC is a growing company dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centered care for adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who holds an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator Certification and is eager to gain valuable experience in both administration and direct care. This role is perfect for newly certified Administrators looking to learn and grow in a supportive environment while also actively participating in resident care.

Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Los Angeles County

Schedule: Full time - Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm

What You’ll Gain in This Role:

Hands-on experience in the daily operations of an adult residential facility
Exposure to licensing regulations and compliance requirements (CCL, Regional Center, etc.)
Practical training in administration, staffing, documentation, and facility management
Direct care experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Administrator to ensure smooth facility operations and compliance with regulations.
Maintain and organize resident and employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Assist with scheduling staff, coordinating meetings, and tracking employee training requirements.
Handle data entry, document preparation, and correspondence for internal and external communications.
Support the hiring process by assisting with onboarding paperwork, background checks, and training coordination.
Help prepare reports, audits, and compliance documentation for licensing agencies (CCL, Regional Center, etc.).
Actively provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meal preparation.
Assist in handling challenging behaviors and emotional needs of residents, providing support with a calm and professional approach.
Support residents in maintaining independence and engaging in social and leisure activities.
Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment by helping with household tasks and following health & safety guidelines.
Support daily operations by stepping in to help meet staffing ratio requirements when necessary.
Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator Certification required
DSP Year 1 & 2 Certification required
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
No prior experience required – we will provide training and hands-on experience!
Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Current CPI Certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (or willingness to obtain)
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Certification (preferred but not required)
Valid California driver’s license
Must be 21 years or older
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Must be able to pass a background check and TB test
