As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee our facility operations, ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace, and support the daily needs of our employees, operations, and business growth.

About the Role

Gurunanda is looking for a hands-on Facility Manager responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of our facility.

This role will oversee building operations, vendor management, workplace services, maintenance programs, compliance requirements, and facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Facility Manager will partner closely with Operations, Warehouse, Quality, HR, IT, and leadership teams to ensure the facility remains safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations & Maintenance

Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring a safe, clean, organized, and functional workplace.
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for:
Building systems
HVAC
Electrical systems
Plumbing
Lighting
Equipment
General facility infrastructure
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.
Maintain facility appearance and ensure professional workplace standards.

Vendor & Contractor Management

Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Coordinate services including:
Janitorial services
Security
Landscaping
Waste management
Pest control
Maintenance contractors
Facility repairs
Obtain quotes, review proposals, and manage vendor performance.
Ensure vendors meet quality, safety, and compliance expectations.

Safety, Compliance & Workplace Standards

Support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Maintain facility documentation, inspections, permits, and service records.
Partner with EHS, Quality, and Operations teams to support:
Safety programs
Emergency preparedness
Workplace compliance
Audit readiness
Assist with emergency response planning and facility safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Facility Projects & Improvements

Lead facility improvement projects, including:
Office/workspace upgrades
Equipment installations
Layout changes
Renovations
Expansion projects
Coordinate project timelines, budgets, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, employee experience, and operational performance.

Office & Workplace Management

Ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and welcoming for employees and visitors.
Manage:
Conference rooms
Common areas
Office supplies
Employee workspace needs
Workplace services
Support office events, company visits, and special facility requirements.
Coordinate employee requests related to facility operations.

Inventory & Asset Management

Maintain records of facility assets, equipment, and service schedules.
Support procurement and inventory management of facility-related supplies.
Monitor facility expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation for equipment warranties and service agreements.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in facility management, building operations, workplace services, or related roles.
Experience managing commercial, warehouse, manufacturing, or corporate facilities preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
Building maintenance
Facility operations
Vendor management
Safety procedures
Preventive maintenance programs
Experience managing contractors and service providers.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to operational needs.

· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or regulated environments.
Knowledge of:
OSHA regulations
EHS practices
GMP environments
Quality compliance requirements
Experience with facility management systems or maintenance tracking software.
Experience managing facility budgets and improvement projects.
Strong project management skills.
