Job description: We are seeking a candidate looking to grow with us. You’ll play a critical support role on fast-paced casting projects with an emphasis on street casting unique new faces. If you’re outgoing, detail-oriented, discreet, and love creative teamwork, this is a great opportunity to learn and grow with a premium, creative casting agency.
Compensation & Contract Type
- Pay: $16.50-$18.00/hr (independent contractor status)
- Must clock hours under timesheet
- Must be available 3+ days a week
- Term: Ongoing/Project-by-project as mutually agreed (3-6 months, can be extended)
- This is an independent contractor role, not an employee position. The contractor will be responsible for their own taxes, benefits, insurance, and business expenses.
- Reimbursement: If pre-approved, reasonable business expenses (e.g. materials, software, travel) will be reimbursed upon submission of documented receipts.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with talent: check availability, place holds, confirm bookings—accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Coordinate with talent and modeling agencies; exercise proactive problem-solving
- Manage your own schedule flexibly—some projects require early availability or occasional weekend work to serve as point of contact from start to finish
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times—regularly handle NDAs and liaise with high-profile clients and their representatives
Required Equipment: 2020 MacBook or newer (or equivalent performance) for seamless workflow efficiency. Working and reliable smartphone. Reliable source of transportation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in casting/scouting
- Experience building talent decks
- Experience using casting platforms such as Casting Networks (required) as well as Backstage/Actor's Access (recommended)
- Experience with Google Workspace (slides, sheets, etc.)
- Experience communicating with talent representatives of various levels
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills; team-oriented
- Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal communication (phone and email communication is a large part of this role)
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time-management skills; Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Discreet and professional, with a strong awareness towards confidentiality
- Unique eye/taste for street casting and emerging looks
- Flexible schedule—able to adapt to early mornings or weekend needs as projects dictate
- Access to a reliable laptop
