Performance UGC Lead (Paid Ads)

Location: Irvine, CA (In-House)

Bidbus is changing how people sell used cars by letting dealerships compete in a live auction to buy their vehicle. On average, our sellers receive $2,800 more than they would from traditional alternatives. Backed by top venture capital firms, Bidbus recently raised a $15 million Series A to expand into new markets.

We use UGC-style video creative to show how a live auction can turn the traditionally boring and stressful car-selling process into something competitive, transparent, and fun.

We’re hiring a Creator Lead to build and manage our performance UGC video production pipeline. You’ll work with creator platforms, agencies, creators, and editors to turn creative briefs into high-quality paid social ads.

This is not an organic influencer marketing role. Our creators primarily produce content that will be used as paid advertising.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Management: Source and brief UGC creators through platforms (Billo, Insense, Trend, etc.) and agency partners specifically for paid ad creative.

Casting for Performance: Select on-camera talent based on demographic fit, hook delivery, and natural persuasiveness rather than social following.

Direct-Response Execution: Communicate script angles, visual direction, hook variations, and strict production timelines to creators.

Footage & Quality Control: Review raw video assets for pacing, authenticity, script accuracy, lighting, and audio clarity.

Editing & Assembly: Make quick cuts, assemble hook variations, add subtitles, text overlays, and B-roll to prepare assets for primary performance editors.

Asset Organization: Tag, organize, and archive raw footage and hook iterations so the growth team can rapidly deploy variations.

Roster Operations: Build and maintain a scalable pool of vetted performance actors/creators who deliver consistently on deadline.

Growth Collaboration: Work directly with the Growth Marketers and Creative Strategist to analyze ad metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CPA) and continuously iterate on winning creative concepts.

Ideal Profile

3–5+ years in direct-response video production, paid social creative ops, or UGC ad production for performance marketing brands or agencies.

Deep experience leveraging creator sourcing platforms (Billo, Insense, Grin, etc.) for paid ad asset generation.

Strong direct-response content sense, you know what makes a thumb-stopping hook and a natural, believable delivery.

Basic video editing proficiency to trim cuts, stitch hooks, and build simple ad drafts.

Experience managing high-volume creative pipelines with tight deadlines, multiple revisions, and strict asset tagging.

Solid understanding of paid social ad formats, specifications, and performance mechanics across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

Comfortable working in-house alongside creative strategists and growth managers to drive performance metrics.

Excited to work in-house and stay close to creative execution

This role is responsible for making sure the right creators produce the right footage, on time and at a consistently high quality. The Creative Strategist will determine the broader concepts and testing direction, while you will own creator selection, production, communication, and delivery.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
