We are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support
the planning and execution of a wide range of events. In this dynamic role, you will assist with day-to-day logistics, on-site event coordination, and post-event follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing internal events such as meetings, tradeshows, weddings,
birthdays and other social events.
- Assist the Director of Events with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office
operations.
- Distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately and in a timely manner to relevant
departments.
- Assist in billing reconciliation and process deposits related to events.
- Update and manage client leads and follow-ups using TripleSeat
- Handle incoming phone calls for the Events Department; return voicemails and direct
inquiries appropriately.
- Input and manage all confirmed events into the OpenTable reservations system.
- Assist with on-site event setup as outlined in the BEO, including signage, table setup, menu
printing, and liaising with the kitchen
- Perform additional assignments or tasks as needed to support the Events team
- This person will ideally also be trained as a front desk host to provide them with more hours
and a better understanding of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, marketing, restaurants or administrative
support is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with event and
restaurant software (e.g., TripleSeat, Open Table) is a plus.
- Flexible schedule –requires evening and weekend work. Additionally, your schedule may
adjust based on last minute event needs
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Schedule:
- This role will be working approximately 1-2 days a week in the office, except for the month of
December when you will be needed 3-4 days a week. Additional days will be offset with
hosting shifts if looking for full time.
- Holidays – restaurant is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas
Experience:
- Events management: 1 year (Preferred but not required)
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
