Location: This role can be done remotely from the US by those currently authorized for work in the US. Eastern time zone is preferred.

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Workday Integration Architect / Engineer | SCM, Procurement, Inventory & Replenishment
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Integration Architect to serve as the technical lead for a high-impact enterprise integration initiative. This consultant will be the Workday integration subject matter expert responsible for defining the overall integration strategy between Workday ERP and a custom-built healthcare inventory management platform. This role is ideal for someone who can evaluate business requirements, architect scalable integration solutions, and provide technical leadership—not just develop integrations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, software engineering teams, and enterprise architects to ensure seamless integration between Workday and internally developed applications supporting healthcare supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for all Workday integration initiatives.
- Define the optimal integration strategy between Workday ERP and a custom healthcare inventory management platform.
- Evaluate business and technical requirements to determine the appropriate Workday integration approach for each use case.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations with custom enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Architect integrations supporting Workday Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Replenishment processes.
- Partner with internal software engineering teams developing RESTful APIs to ensure proper interaction with the Workday integration framework.
- Translate functional business processes into scalable technical integration solutions aligned with Workday best practices.
- Provide technical leadership on Workday integration architecture, business objects, security, authentication, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Define data mapping strategies and integration design standards across multiple applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues involving Workday, APIs, middleware, and downstream systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to recommend scalable integration solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, integration specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation recommendations.
- Mentor engineering teams on Workday integration best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
- Experience integrating Workday with custom enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
- Experience with Workday Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and/or Replenishment.
- Expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs.
- Deep understanding of Workday business objects, security model, authentication, and data architecture.
- Ability to evaluate business requirements and recommend integration strategy.
- Experience partnering with software engineering teams building RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and data mapping.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as the Workday technical lead.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or healthcare supply chain integration experience.
- Inventory management, procurement, or ERP integration experience.
- Workday Integration certifications preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $60-$90/hr.
