Full Job Description

NOTE:

Availability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts is required, with flexibility to meet operational demands.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heidelberg Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Heidelberg printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently. Your expertise in press operation, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement will ensure optimal performance and product excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about manufacturing and printing technology to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Duties

Set up and operate Heidelberg presses, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and color registration for each job.
Monitor press operation throughout the production run, adjusting settings as needed to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on presses, including mechanical adjustments and replacement of tooling or parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate production.
Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify print quality.
Maintain detailed production logs, shift reports, and inspection records for traceability and process improvement.
Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication projects, or packaging operations as needed.

Experience

Proven factory experience operating Heidelberg or similar flexo or offset printing presses in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes.
Familiarity with blueprint reading (GD&T), tooling setup, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
Experience with quality control tools including calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Ability to work with hand tools and machinery safely in a manufacturing facility setting.
Knowledge of materials handling procedures using forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations related to manufacturing tasks.
