This is a hands-on leadership role with a lot of independence. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation while working closely with Sales and Management to make sure we meet our goals.

About the Role

As our Warehouse Operations Lead, you will take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operations and help ensure we meet our production, shipping, inventory, and quality goals.

You will have significant responsibility and autonomy over the warehouse, including scheduling and prioritizing production, maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing shipping and receiving, quality control, and keeping the facility organized and running efficiently.

This is a hands-on position. You’ll lead by doing and won’t be expected to sit behind a desk all day.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversee and organize daily warehouse operations
Schedule and prioritize production
Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
Manage incoming containers and other shipments
Receive, stock, and organize inventory
Perform inventory counts and cycle counts
Maintain accurate inventory levels
Perform quality control on production and shipments
Build and break down cardboard boxes
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and efficient
Operate hydraulic and manual presses
Perform debossing and branding of leather products
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
Develop and maintain effective shipping and receiving procedures
Help create and improve SOPs
Troubleshoot problems and work with Sales and Management to identify root causes and solutions
Train and develop warehouse employees
Help ensure OSHA and company safety requirements are followed
Take ownership of the warehouse and its day-to-day performance
Jump in and help wherever needed to support the team and the company

The Person We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. You should be organized, dependable, hands-on, and comfortable taking responsibility for getting things done.

Most importantly, we want someone who takes ownership.

If you notice that something isn't working, we want you to tell us. If you have an idea for making a process faster or better, we want to hear it. If you see something that needs to be done, we want you to be the person who takes initiative and gets it done.

You should be comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player.

Qualifications

Required:

Previous warehouse experience
Strong computer skills
Experience with shipping, receiving, production, and inventory
Strong attention to detail
Good time-management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage your responsibilities
Willingness to work with hydraulic and manual presses
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation
Ability to stay focused and productive while working

Preferred:

Experience with debossing, leather goods, or other product-branding methods
Experience leading or coordinating warehouse operations
Experience developing or improving warehouse processes and SOPs
