Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Certified Personal Trainer to inspire and guide clients on their fitness journeys. In this dynamic role, you will design personalized workout plans, deliver engaging coaching sessions, and motivate clients to achieve their health and fitness goals. Your expertise in biomechanics, physiology, and nutrition will empower clients to improve their body mechanics, strength, and overall wellness. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in a vibrant fitness environment while advancing your career in the fitness industry.

Responsibilities

Develop customized workout programs tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels.
Deliver motivating coaching sessions that incorporate proper manual handling techniques and body mechanics.
Assess clients’ physical condition using biomechanics and anatomy knowledge to optimize program design.
Educate clients on nutrition, injury prevention, first aid procedures, and safe exercise practices including heavy lifting.
Build strong client rapport through effective communication, active listening, and personalized attention.
Maintain up-to-date liability insurance and certification records such as CPR/AED operation and first aid training.
Promote fitness services and programs to increase client engagement and retention through excellent customer service.
Scheduling and communicating with clients

Qualifications

Strong understanding of biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for program design.
Certified in CPR/AED and first aid with current liability insurance coverage.
Experience teaching physical education or coaching sports at various levels preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse clients effectively.
Knowledge of fitness sales strategies and customer service best practices within health clubs or gyms.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while demonstrating proper manual handling techniques.
