Full Job Description

Freeman Generator Service is a fast-growing department of a family-owned and operated company dedicated to providing reliable generator installation, maintenance, and repair services throughout North Georgia. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships within the communities we serve.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Account Coordinator to support our daily operations through customer invoicing, payment processing, purchase order creation and receipt, fleet management administration, customer communications, and coordination with team members and vendors. This position is office-based and plays a vital role in ensuring a positive customer experience, constantly maintaining accurate records, and supporting the efficiency of a growing department.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, attentive to detail, and enjoys being a key contributor in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

· Customer invoicing & payment processing.

· Vendor bill entry for accurate inventory management.

· Inventory material ordering.

· Warranty claim processing.

· Maintain accurate records for generator fleet monitoring database.

· Assist in handling inbound calls from customers to create work orders, provide product information, pricing, and technical support.

· Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of solutions, and follow up as needed.

· Maintain customer records, update databases, keep accurate records of all interactions and transactions.

· Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

· Provide feedback to management regarding common customer inquiries or concerns to improve processes and customer experience.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.

· Proven customer service experience in an office role (clerical, accounting, reception).

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally convey technical information to customers.

· Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

· Familiarity with QuickBooks and other CRM systems.

· Ability to work a 40-hour work week in office (this is not a remote position).

· Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, as needed for special tasks or as part of an on-call schedule.

· Basic technical knowledge or a willingness to learn about generators, and electrical equipment.
