Full Job Description

Bourbon Brothers is currently accepting applications for a Kitchen Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Our Kitchen Manager will become an integral part of the success of our world-class hospitality and entertainment brand in Gainesville, GA. VENU is parent company to award winning restaurant and entertainment properties Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse and Tavern, The Hall at Bourbon Brothers, and the Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs, CO.

Reporting to the Campus General Manager, the Kitchen Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the BOH for our Gainesville, GA campus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for working in a kitchen and the ability to lead other individuals.

Responsibilities

· Hiring, training, and continued development of all BOH staff

· Managing inventory to ensure proper levels are maintained.

· Streamlining kitchen processes to ensure guest needs and service times are attained.

· Create daily/weekly kitchen cleaning procedures and verifying that staff is maintaining standards.

· Create schedules for all BOH staff.

· Put systems in place to ensure that BOH labor, food cost and supply budgets are consistently attained.

· Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all staff.

Requirements

· 3 years of experience in high volume kitchens, managing large campuses or multiple units

· Strong base of culinary knowledge

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Proven ability to plan and execute large scale catering in the live event space

· Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

· Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, reach with hands and arms, use fingers and wrists, and talk and hear.

· Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.

· Must be able to ascend and descend stairs.
