Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director at the Children's Center for Hope and Healing; driving excellence in client care, clinical operations, and intern development. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee clinical services, serve on a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based treatment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of behavioral health, strong leadership skills, and a passion for improving lives through comprehensive therapeutic services for those that have experienced childhood sexual abuse and youth with problematic sexual behaviors. This paid position is integral to advancing our mission of providing accessible, high-quality mental health care to diverse populations.

Duties

To provide comprehensive trauma focused individual, group, and family therapy to children and adults who are victims of childhood sexual abuse and assault and to children and adolescents with problematic sexual behaviors
·To participate in the establishment and building of community partnerships, maintaining good working relationships with individuals working at other collaborating agencies
Implement evidence-based practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Problematic Sexual Behavior curriculum and intervention strategies
To provide and document clinical supervision to interns and clinical staff on a weekly basis, ensuring staff have resources needed and application of clinical interventions for each case
To regularly evaluate clinical staff and provide feedback to increase individual performance and skills
To build an effective clinical team through interviewing, hiring of new staff and interns, providing training and assuring staff development
To monitor satisfaction and effectiveness of services provided to prepare for program development
To provide oversight of referrals, wait lists, and caseloads to minimize wait time and increase productivity

Qualifications

Clinical Master’s degree in counseling or a clinical specialty, fully licensed in the State of Georgia and eligible or soon to be eligible to provide clinical supervision, LPC preferred, due to counseling interns typically come from clinical counseling programs vs. social work programs . Minimum of four years of experience as a therapist, preferably in child sexual abuse or domestic violence; ability to demonstrate professional therapy skills and theoretical knowledge of individual and family dynamics.
Must be current on Georgia mandatory reporting laws, HIPPA, and other laws concerning client confidentiality, tele-mental health and privacy.
Team building and leadership skills essential. Ability to facilitate team meetings and coordinate caseloads and staffing.
Expertise in Clinical Supervision, including mentoring and developing clinical staff to ensure adherence to industry standards and high-quality service delivery.
Ability to handle stress-related issues; willingness to work flexible hours; skills at working with and contributing to a team approach to treatment; skills in case management involving multiple community agencies.
Extensive knowledge of mental health counseling modalities including group therapy, individual therapy, and working with caregivers.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
