Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Document Control Specialist is responsible for collecting, maintaining, and distributing of project documents as they flow through the company. Classifies and files new documents following the established processes. Fulfills document requests from authorized personnel and tracks the retrieval and disposition of documents. Performs a variety of administrative/clerical duties.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Follow instructions and company procedures.
Good communication skills and follow through on assigned tasks.
Perform other administrative duties such as filing, data entry, copying, making job books for the shop floor, and other duties as assigned.
Maintenance of existing controlled documents.
Work with colleagues to ensure consistency of documentation practice across the company.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Organization skills & attention to detail.
Solid communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
Professional appearance.
High school degree

Must have previous office experience, documentation control experience is a plus. Must be a self-starter and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
