SUYA CALIENTE – AFRO-LATINO GRILL
Location: Aubrey/Frisco, Texas
Suya Caliente is looking for a passionate and experienced Cook to join our growing Afro-Latino culinary brand. We specialize in premium flame-grilled dishes inspired by the rich flavors of West African Suya and Latin cuisine. If you love cooking, grilling, and creating exceptional customer experiences, we would love to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Company recipes and standards.
- Grill beef, chicken, and specialty menu items to perfection.
- Prepare rice dishes, plantains, tacos, quesadillas, bowls, wraps, and other menu offerings.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and food preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced food truck environment.
- Provide excellent teamwork and professionalism during busy service periods.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two (2) years of cooking experience preferred.
- Experience working in restaurants, food trucks, or commercial kitchens.
- Experience with grilling and high-volume food preparation is highly preferred.
- Experience preparing African, Latin, or international cuisine is a plus.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Food Handler Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
- Speak both English and Spanish is a plus (not required)
