Overview
The Utility Worker participates in the detail and completion of the maintenance of the Gran Via Buffet including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and organizing food and hospitality areas. The team member primary focus is to ensure all food is maintained on the buffet line.
This position is based at our Gran Via Buffet. Regardless of what type of culinary mood you’re in, there’s a dish for it at the all-you-can-eat Gran Via Buffet at WinStar World Casino and Resort. This 500-seat buffet restaurant, just steps from the Madrid and London Gaming Plazas, allows you to be the curator of your own meal. Responsibilities
- Cleans food counters and surrounding areas in a discrete manner.
- Cleans any spill or dropped food item off the food court floor.
- Restock ice, paper goods, soda bids, coffee, tea, juice, condiments, etc.
- Must maintain excellent attendance and be available for varied schedules per business need.
- Always maintain a professional and tidy appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must possess excellent guest service skills and be a self-starter with the ability to multitask, follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
- Ability to communicate with team members, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- All employees must obtain a valid gaming license from the Gaming Commission prior to beginning work and are required to have the license renewed as mandated by the Gaming Commission.
