Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives..
Identify and work through ambiguities, then write and update relevant artifacts such as requirements (business, stakeholder, solution, transition), solutions architecture, activity/workflow diagrams, use cases and data dictionaries.
Participate in requirements gathering specification sessions for corporate IT business projects. Identify deliverable assets and content, and ensure that business/stakeholders provide correct and accurate information in a timely fashion. Identify standard or reusable requirements on a stakeholder or department level.
Represent business/stakeholder interests by understanding and driving business needs and desires to implementation.
Collect, evaluate and compress data and information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts and differentiate between actual and required user needs.
Understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and trace them to specific software requirements.
Act as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.
Effectively communicate with internal and external parties, as needed, and ensure all parties are informed and kept current on all projects.
Work through product iterations with development team and remediate logical or technical ambiguities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Educational Requirements:

4-6 years’ experience as Business Analyst, preferably with financial systems experience. Experience working with Commercial and Personal Lending products is a plus.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, from initial business requirements to application sunset.
Experience working with disruptive technology (SAP, Pega, SalesForce)
Solid background in technical documentation writing and editing.
Experience working with diagramming tools and with UML.
Experience working with mobile applications (for phones, tablets and phablets).
