I’m looking for a right hand. Not a task-doer — a thought partner.
I run a top-performing real estate business in North Metro Atlanta built around YouTube, social media, and relocation clients. We’re lean, fast-moving, and growing. I need someone who can help hold the operation together behind the scenes while helping me stay focused on the work that has the biggest impact on the business.
This is not an entry-level assistant role where you wait for instructions all day.
I’m looking for someone who notices problems before they become problems. Someone who follows through without reminders, catches details others miss, protects my time, and creates order when there are a lot of moving pieces.
You don’t need me to give you a to-do list every morning. You can look at what’s happening, figure out what needs attention, and take ownership of getting it handled.
You’re probably someone who:
- Naturally takes ownership and follows things through to completion
- Loves organization, systems, and making things run better
- Thinks a few steps ahead
- Learns technology quickly
- Is warm and professional with people but comfortable holding boundaries
- Gets satisfaction from solving problems and keeping things moving
- Notices the typo, missed follow-up, calendar conflict, or unfinished task before anyone else does
- Can prioritize when several things need attention at once
- Communicates clearly and knows when to handle something independently versus when to bring me in
You may already have real estate experience. Maybe you’re licensed and realized you enjoy operations, marketing, or business strategy more than sales. That’s a plus, but it’s not required.
You may also come from an executive assistant, operations, project management, marketing, events, or professional services background.
I care more about your instincts, judgment, resourcefulness, and reliability than having the perfect résumé.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with me across several parts of the business, including:
- Manage my calendar, inbox, priorities, and follow-ups
- Draft emails and organize communication
- Help protect my time and keep me focused on the right priorities
- Keep projects moving across the team, vendors, and contractors
- Coordinate speaking engagements, travel, meetings, and client events
- Manage vendors including photographers, videographers, designers, printers, and caterers
- Support content operations by coordinating uploads, scheduling, deadlines, and logistics
- Track open items and make sure things don’t quietly fall through the cracks
- Handle occasional personal logistics that intersect with my schedule, travel, or work responsibilities
- Build systems and improve processes as the company grows
- Identify recurring problems and help create solutions instead of temporary fixes
Over time, I want you to understand the business well enough that you can anticipate what needs to happen next without waiting for me to ask.
What You Won’t Do
This is not a sales position.
You will not:
- Cold call
- Show houses
- Chase leads
- Write real estate contracts
Your job is to help run the engine behind the business so I can stay focused on the highest-value work.
You’ll Know You’re Succeeding When:
- I don’t have to remember everything because you have it covered
- Projects move forward without me constantly checking on them
- My calendar and inbox reflect my actual priorities
- Vendors and team members know what they need to do and when
- Deadlines and follow-ups rarely slip through the cracks
- You start anticipating what I’ll need before I ask
- Recurring problems turn into systems and processes
- I can hand you something and trust that it will get handled
This Probably Isn’t the Right Role If:
You prefer clearly defined tasks, predictable days, and waiting for someone to tell you what comes next.
This business moves quickly. Priorities sometimes change. There will be days when the plan you started with in the morning looks different by the afternoon.
If that frustrates you, this probably isn’t the right environment.
But if you naturally create your own to-do list, think three steps ahead, ask good questions, and get bothered when something falls through the cracks, you may be exactly who I’m looking for.
Schedule & Location
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Gainesville, GA and requires regular in-person work.
The role is primarily Monday–Friday during normal business hours. There may occasionally be events, travel coordination, meetings, or time-sensitive needs outside normal hours.
Because you'll work closely with me and other members of the business, you need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Gainesville.
Compensation & Growth
- $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience
- Paid time off
- Opportunity for long-term growth into operations leadership and project ownership
- Exposure to the operations, marketing, content, and strategy behind a high-producing, content-driven real estate business
- Increasing responsibility and autonomy as you learn the business
For the right person, I see this role growing beyond Executive Assistant responsibilities.
As you demonstrate that you can take ownership of larger parts of the business, there is an opportunity to grow into an Operations Manager or Director of Operations role.
I’m looking for someone who wants to build something with me for the long term — not someone looking for a temporary stepping stone.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Paid time off
- Referral program
Application Question(s):
