About the Role

We are seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our team as Life Insurance Brokers. This role is focused on helping individuals and families understand their life insurance and financial protection needs and providing appropriate insurance solutions based on their goals and circumstances.

Both experienced insurance professionals and individuals who are new to the industry are encouraged to apply. Training, mentorship, and professional development are available to help qualified individuals learn the industry, develop their skills, and build a client-focused practice.

This is a sales-oriented role that requires strong communication, organization, follow-through, and a commitment to ethical and compliant business practices.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and objectives.
Conduct client needs assessments and gather relevant information to help identify appropriate insurance solutions.
Educate clients about available life insurance products, policy features, benefits, costs, and limitations.
Present insurance options in a clear, professional, and understandable manner.
Assist clients with the application and policy placement process.
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the application and underwriting process.
Build and maintain professional client relationships through follow-up and ongoing service.
Develop new business through referrals, networking, community outreach, appointments, and other approved marketing activities.
Maintain accurate client records, activity notes, appointments, and follow-up information using company-approved systems and CRM tools.
Work with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal support teams to help facilitate applications and policy issuance.
Complete required product, compliance, licensing, and continuing education requirements.
Follow all applicable federal and state insurance laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and company policies.
Participate in training, coaching, team meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, dependable, and organized approach to client service.
Ability to build trust and establish professional relationships.
Comfortable speaking with prospective clients by phone, virtually, and/or in person.
Ability to manage follow-up activities and maintain accurate records.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, online systems, and CRM platforms.
Strong willingness to learn insurance products, industry regulations, and sales processes.
Previous experience in sales, customer service, education, hospitality, management, business ownership, healthcare, recruiting, or another client-facing profession is helpful but not required.
Previous insurance experience or an active insurance license is a plus.
Must meet applicable state licensing requirements before soliciting or selling insurance products.

Licensing

An active state life insurance license is required before an individual may solicit, recommend, negotiate, or sell life insurance products. Candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered for the opportunity, subject to applicable state licensing requirements, background-check requirements, and company/carrier appointment requirements.
