How you’ll contribute

An MRI Technologist, Lead who excels in this role:

Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice.
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Prepares equipment and supplies.

What we’re looking for
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (MR).
Registry Eligible New Hire; Cross-training staff or Transfer staff who are registered ARRT technologists will be considered and must acquire valid MR registration within 12 months of hire or transfer date.

Since opening in 1959 as Sumner County Memorial Hospital, Highpoint Health – Sumner has grown from a facility with just 50 employees and seven physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians.

Highpoint Health – Sumner is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and is governed by a local board of trustees. The hospital is also one of the largest non-government employers in Sumner County.
