POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Quality, Logistics, Warehouse Coordinator REPORTS TO: Distribution

DEPARTMENT: Distribution Center SUPERVISES: None

CLASSIFICATION: Full-time; non-exempt

Summary of Responsibilities:

Quality, Logistics, Warehouse Coordinator is a combined role of inbound and internal product quality, outbound transportation analysis and warehouse analysis. This position is responsible for ensuring products and materials meet established quality specifications, out-bound logistics scheduling and standards, and warehouse operations analysis and improvement. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance and quality standards, improving workflow efficiency through warehouse data management and ensuring timely and accurate movement of customer shipments.

Essential Duties:

General:

Position requires excellent attendance and dependability

· Analytical skills and strong attention to detail

Training and utilization of the Nashville Wraps computer system
Understanding of working with inventory management and warehouse operations
Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks without requiring constant supervision
Work and commute between multiple locations
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Must be organized and detail oriented

Quality:

Review and document in-bound inspections and comparisons based on Nashville Wraps specifications and Vendor Compliance Manual.
Internal inspections and comparison within Nashville Wraps Production and Print Operations.
Preparation of in-bound receiving reports indicating any non-conformances and vendor involved.
Work closely with internal departments to identify and resolve QC issues including the timely disposition of defective products
Provide product samples for various departments as required
Review product specifications in Nashville Wraps data and the Vendor Compliance Manual and advise appropriate departments of any inaccuracies
Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions

Logistics:

Communicate with transportation brokers and shipping providers to schedule out-bound freight for truckline and LTL shipments.
Schedule outbound deliveries and pickups to optimize deliveries and delays
Review pricing and service for carriers to pursue best options for customers
Track and monitor shipments utilizing internal or external software systems
Maintain accurate records of Bill of Ladings and shipments
Learn and train on transportation software offered through brokers or freight companies

Warehouse Data:

Work with Warehouse Operations to analyze data to offer improvements
Assists in development of project plans and maintaining project schedules for warehouse operations
Creates distribution project reports and documentation
Utilizes key performance indexes to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Collaborate with Warehouse, Information Technology and other departments to implement process improvements

Skills and Qualifications:

· Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – Supply Chain, Quality, Business or related field

· Strong attention to detail, logical thinking and maintaining records

· Process Improvement and Technical Understanding

· Knowledge of warehouse operations, quality, inventory and transportation

· Proven computer platform experience

· Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

· Computer Skills and Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Working Conditions:

· Standing and/or walking for prolonged periods

Some kneeling and reaching may be required to perform some duties
Fast-paced work environment
Must be able to adhere to all rules and regulations required for condition of employment at Nashville Wraps
Must be able to perform physically demanding work in air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, team lifts should be utilized for heavier items

· Ability to work periodic overtime
