Flora Finance Manager

Location: Gallipolis, OH

The Flora Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing plant-level accounting operations, ensuring the integrity of cost accounting, and providing financial reporting support for manufacturing facilities. This role involves accurate financial reporting, maintaining inventory accuracy, and analyzing cost variances.

Maintain and calculate Material, Labor, and Overhead costs in collaboration with Operations staff.
Responsible for managing cost accounting elements.
Prepare and analyze cost variance and profitability reports for operational review.
Provide financial analysis and reporting for capital expenditure reviews and post-investment tracking.
Ensure adequate fiscal records for internal and external audits.
Review and reconcile month-end closing activities.
Provide detailed Variance vs. Budget and Forecast analysis.
Ensure inventory accuracy and develop policies for inventory management.
Monitor cycle-count inventories and assist with reconciliations.
Support annual budget process.
Maintain financial reporting system integrity.
Create financial budgets and projections for manufacturing sites.

Requirements

3-7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing accounting or finance.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Experience with manufacturing site optimization is a strong plus.
Exposure to Lean principles and techniques is beneficial.
