For more than 15 years, Calivirgin has been one of the most awarded olive oil companies in the nation, and we're now proud to be producing wine alongside our oils. Calivines Winery and Olive Mill brings Calivirgin olive oils and Calivines wines together under one roof in our Lodi, California tasting room.

Position Summary

The Wine & Olive Oil Club Lead is responsible for growing and maintaining our club membership program and driving this segment of the business to the next level. You'll join a team of dedicated people who are passionate about our products and excited about where the business is headed — with real opportunity to bring forward creative ideas and make a lasting impact on a rapidly expanding company.

What You'll Do

Member Experience & Sales

Promote the Olive Oil & Wine Clubs to guests, clearly communicating benefits, options, and policies.
Train tasting room staff to confidently present club information, answer questions, and encourage sign-ups.
Provide excellent member service — promptly resolving inquiries, complaints, special requests, phone calls, and Red Chirp messages.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support company growth and success.

Club Operations & Fulfillment

Oversee all aspects of club shipments: scheduling, fulfillment coordination, ordering, pack-out oversight, and order accuracy in Commerce7.
Plan and execute annual club shipments, release parties, member events, and key program dates alongside management and the events team.
Accurately enter and maintain member data in Commerce7/BigCommerce, ensuring billing, orders, and account details stay correct.
Track special requests and coordinate tasting room staff responsibilities for club pick-ups.

Marketing & Reporting

Partner with marketing to develop materials — emails, newsletters, signage, social media, and text communications — that promote shipments, events, and club benefits.
Review Commerce7 reports regularly to monitor membership growth, retention, and sales performance, and provide reporting to management.

Leadership & Operations

Report to the Chief Marketing Officer and collaborate closely with managers across departments.
Gather feedback and participate in management discussions to improve operations and the guest/employee experience.
Build strong working knowledge of company operations and policies to support staff training and leadership.
Ensure compliance with company, safety, and security procedures; report incidents and complete required safety training.
Attend required meetings and actively contribute ideas to improve club and tasting room operations.
Manage opening and closing duties as needed, and perform additional duties as assigned to support company growth.

What We're Looking For

Required

Minimum of 1 year of winery tasting room experience.
Excellent hospitality, sales, and organizational skills.
Strong computer proficiency (Mac or PC), including MS Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and POS systems; Commerce7 experience required.
Professional, creative, friendly, fun, and outgoing personality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Highly customer-service oriented, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of a team-oriented environment.
Available and willing to work evenings and weekends; able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Must obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire, per California State Law (approx. $7.75).
Must obtain ABC Certification within 60 days of hire, per California State Law (approx. $12.95).

Preferred

Previous wine club experience.
College degree.
