Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Surgery Center. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience. Your duties will include managing the front desk, providing administrative support, verifying insurance for surgical cases, taking patient payments, and maintaining the office environment.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors, answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Manage front desk operations, including answering and directing calls
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry and document organization
- Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Maintain the office environment, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Support the office with tasks as needed

- Insurance verification for patients and updating patients with payment estimates
- Utilize Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Word
- Serve as a personal assistant to the team, providing support and assistance as needed
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus
- Develop strong relationships with patients, physicians and colleagues
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette and handle customer complaints professionally
- Stay up-to-date with office software and technology

- Day shift from 8am-4pm daily

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a front desk or administrative role
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and office software
