We’re looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer who enjoys both shop work and field installation. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities
Shop
- Build and assemble custom cabinet boxes, drawers, doors, and other millwork components.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and cut lists.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Prepare cabinets and components for installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Installation
- Install custom cabinetry, floating shelves, panels, trim, and architectural millwork.
- Accurately level, plumb, and secure cabinets for a professional fit and finish.
- Install drawer slides, hinges, hardware, moldings, fillers, scribe pieces, and accessories.
- Make final adjustments to doors and drawers to ensure proper operation.
- Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional job site.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience building and/or installing custom cabinetry.
- Ability to read shop drawings and understand cabinet construction.
- Experience using common woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong understanding of cabinet installation techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make precise field modifications when necessary.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience
- Custom residential cabinetry.
- Face-frame and frameless cabinet construction.
- Finish carpentry and architectural millwork.
- Knowledge of Blum hardware and soft-close systems.
- Experience loading, delivering, and installing finished cabinetry.
