Job Overview

Are you energized by outdoor work and passionate about protecting homes and businesses from pests? We’re seeking a dynamic Pest Control Technician/Sales Representative field Rep 2-3 to join our team! In this role, you will combine hands-on pest management with engaging sales efforts, providing top-tier service to our valued customers. Your expertise will help clients achieve pest-free environments while expanding our customer base through professional consultation and tailored solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pest control, sales, and safety protocols—all while making a tangible difference in your community.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues using hand tools, ladders, and power tools as needed.
Apply pest control chemicals safely and effectively, adhering strictly to pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols such as respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures.
Educate customers on pest behavior, prevention strategies, and integrated pest management techniques to promote long-term solutions.
Operate company vehicles responsibly, ensuring compliance with all driving laws and safety standards while transporting equipment and chemicals to job sites.
Use mechanical knowledge and farming or landscaping experience to troubleshoot pest problems in outdoor environments, including lawns, gardens, farms, or landscaped areas.
Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, safety procedures followed, and customer interactions for compliance and quality assurance.
Engage actively in sales efforts by building rapport with clients, presenting service options confidently, and following up on leads to grow the customer base.

Experience

Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture or related outdoor work is highly desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge of pesticide application techniques, pesticide management practices, and integrated pest management strategies.
Familiarity with safety protocols including ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, chemical handling, respiratory protection equipment use, and company vehicle operation.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery or other mechanical equipment is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating farm machinery or similar equipment is advantageous.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards at all times.
