FlexTrades is seeking a CNC Swiss Machinist to support a high‑mix, low‑volume production environment working primarily with plastic materials. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, problem‑solving, and hands‑on machining.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style machines using provided instructions and tooling
- Adjust tools, make simple program edits, and verify proper machine operation
- Run a variety of low‑volume parts with short cycle times
- Inspect parts using standard measuring tools and follow documented inspection steps
- Perform hand‑deburring using small handheld tools
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Work independently as the primary machinist on the shift
Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss-style machines
- Ability to read production prints, including basic geometric features
- Skill in making offsets and machine adjustments
- Comfortable inspecting tight‑tolerance parts using common measurement tools
- Ability to work with plastic or metal materials, with willingness to learn differences
- Strong attention to detail during setups, inspections, and deburring
- Ability to manage multiple machines located in the same work area
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $40/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Pay to and from the project
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
