About Catt Development:

Catt Development is a real estate development firm based in Gaylord, Michigan that specializes in real estate investment, development, property & asset management and commercial construction management through its subsidiary, Integrity Construction Services.

About the Role:

The Accounting Manager serves as the in-house financial bookkeeper collaborating closely with the corporate CPA firm, corporate leaders, and associates. This role is responsible for general ledger accounting, construction AIA accounting, accounts payable/receivables, cash management, and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities:

General ledger accounting to include income and expense, fixed assets, loan statements, and payroll on an accrual basis.
Profit and Loss budget performance.
Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Annual financial audit.
Cash management, commercial banking, and reconciliation.
Accounts payable/receivables to include general ledger and 1099 reporting.
Property management accounting and general ledger reporting.
Construction AIA accounting and project reconciliation.
Payroll reporting associate benefits and tax.
Federal, state, and local tax reporting.
Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Demonstrate ability to build effective and positive working relationships.
Ability to balance debit and credit transactions to include journal entries assigned to general ledger accounting.
Knowledge of fixed assets and expenses.
Strong analytical skills producing accurate financial reports and budget performance.
Deep understanding of cash flow management.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Self-starter able to work independently, flexibility, and follow through.
Salary package based on experience, credentials and background.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
