Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations by providing administrative support and excellent customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and directing them appropriately.
Manage phone systems, including answering calls, taking messages, and routing calls to the correct personnel.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Act as a personal assistant to management by handling scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative duties.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
Excellent computer literacy with a solid understanding of office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Outlook).
Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation.
Experience in filing systems and maintaining organized records for easy retrieval.
Administrative skills that include multitasking, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with phone systems and professional communication etiquette.
Effective time management skills that enable the successful handling of multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Experience in routing and Miss Dig 811 preferred, but will train the right candidate.
