Full Job Description

Are you looking for a local company with a reliable schedule with no holidays and no weekends? Day shift only?? If so...please consider our opportunity! We are adding to our team, and we are looking for versatile candidates willing to cross-train and learn more than one assembly work cell. This is an entry-level position to start, with opportunity to grow as skills develop.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Assemble components and sub-assemblies per specific defined process and defined time frame

· Read and comprehend engineering drawings, fabrication and process instructions (FPI), bill of materials (BOM), and other pre-established guidelines to perform specified functions and tests

· Package, label and put away of inspected sub-assemblies or finished goods to designated location

· Perform light material handling using pallet jack or cart

· Complete the pulling, identifying and delivering of assigned scheduled job orders to the work cells in a timely manner and to quality standards following the First In First Out (FIFO) inventory policy

· Use tools including: screwdrivers, pneumatic screw drivers, torque wrench, pliers, hammers, drills, and arbor press

· Work with machinery including: rivet machines, drill press, cover machine, nameplate press

· Have basic electrical familiarity and point to point wiring

Mechanical aptitude is important, as well as dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination. Should be able to lift 40-50 lbs. Lifting is not constant. High attention to detail is very important.

High School diploma or GED required.

Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm

FT (40 hours a week) Mon-Fri
