Full Job Description

This position requires knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in written, auditory, or visual fashion is essential. The methods used to express or exchange ideas are by spoken or written word. Written, telephone and manual dexterity skills are also required. In order to ensure timely processing of the patient record, the Document Capture Technician will ensure receipt of all inpatient/outpatient/emergency department patient records; review each patient record for poor original, items that cannot be scanned, patient identification on each document, and will group like documents in the appropriate order.

Qualifications:
High School Graduate. One year of previous experience in hospital medical record department or similar medical office setting

Salary: $20.13 - $22.88 doe

Location: Auburn Community Hospital · HIM
Schedule: Part Time, Weekends
