WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

A high school diploma or equivalent.
A base familiarity with tools, technology, and systems typically found within most health care environments.
A current Pharmacy Technician registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support certification (would be required upon hire).

PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES:

Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing and inventory management.
Prepare and deliver medications to patients.
Manage patient data and verify benefits in the pharmacy system.
Communicate with patients about prescriptions and provide necessary information.
Address patient concerns and resolve complaints.
Adhere to regulatory standards and CommUnityCare policies for patient care and administrative tasks.
Build positive relationships with colleagues.
Engage with patients and families in a respectful and collaborative manner.
Work with the care team to deliver patient-centered care.
Maintain professionalism in all activities and communications.
Follow company policies, uphold the mission and values.
Complete required training and keep credentials up-to-date.
Carry out additional tasks as needed.
