Full Job Description

Responsibilities We got more business than we can handle ! Will share in profit.

Looking for experienced Tax preparers, initially located in the greater Atlanta area for trial in-office presence, preparing individual and business tax returns. After ensuring team fit, position will be mostly remote.

Stone Mountain practice in scale up mode with more business than we know what to do with! What we are doing is working! Will split commissions and fees, provide extensive continuing education and some equipment. Small friendly, family oriented team understanding of work/life balance. Will start in St. Mountain office to ensure team fit and then migrate to either all remote or remote/in office combination.

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar and experienced in NOL, depreciation methods and procedures. Niche areas include truckers and real estate investors. Experience with 1120S, 1065 and taxslayer software is a plus!

Responsibilities

Prepare tax payments
Organize and update the company’s tax database
Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes

Skills

Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
Familiarity with Taxslayer software online
Computer literacy
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Excellent to research
Strong numeracy and time management skills
