About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven, financially disciplined, and systems-oriented Culinary Director to lead and oversee four distinct food programs within a fast-growing hospitality group:

BBQ
Elevated Sports Bar
American Elevated Tapas
Banquet / Event Food

This is not a one-outlet Executive Chef role. This is a senior culinary leadership position for an operator who can build teams, drive consistency, control costs, and execute across multiple concepts without sacrificing quality or guest experience.

The right candidate must be equally comfortable leading culinary creativity and owning the business side of the operation, including prime cost, labor management, P&L performance, menu engineering, inventory controls, purchasing, production systems, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all culinary operations across four distinct food programs
Build, refine, and maintain menus that are executable, profitable, and aligned with each concept
Own and manage food cost, labor cost, and prime cost performance
Work directly with leadership on P&L management, forecasting, and operational planning
Create and enforce recipe standards, prep systems, portion controls, and yield management
Develop kitchen staffing models, labor deployment plans, and productivity expectations
Drive consistency in execution, presentation, speed, and quality across all programs
Oversee banquet and event culinary production, ensuring strong planning and flawless execution at volume
Partner with purchasing and vendor teams to negotiate costs, improve product mix, and protect margins
Manage inventory processes, ordering systems, waste controls, and reporting
Recruit, train, coach, and develop kitchen leaders and hourly culinary teams
Build systems and SOPs that scale cleanly as the business grows
Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
Collaborate with ownership and operations leadership on openings, rollouts, and concept refinement

Qualifications

5+ years in a senior culinary leadership role such as Culinary Director, Corporate Executive Chef, Executive Chef, or Regional Chef
Proven experience overseeing multiple concepts or multiple outlets
Strong background in at least several of the following:
BBQ
Elevated bar food
American / small plates / tapas
Banquet / catering / high-volume event execution
Deep understanding of prime cost, P&L, labor management, and menu engineering
Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate culinary decisions into business results
Experience building recipe systems, specs, prep pars, and operating standards
Demonstrated success leading teams, developing managers, and holding standards
Strong organizational skills and ability to execute in fast-paced, multi-unit, or multi-concept environments
Opening experience is strongly preferred
Hospitality-first mindset with high standards for quality, consistency, and culture
