Full Job Description

IMMEDIATE NEED.
Your office space or access to office space is REQUIRED to see Veterans.

Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a part-time, 1099 PHYSICIAN, PA, or NPs OFFICE to perform evaluations on America’s Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's disability claims process.

The Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner will conduct examinations based on the disability claim filed, interview the Veteran, review the military records, enter the responses/results, and submit an opinion (if requested) in the portal. This process provides the support that allows the VA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement).

The ideal physician's office is able to see Veterans 1/2 day to 2 days per week based on case volume.

There are no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.

CREDENTIALING and HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

2 years post-graduate experience required.
Application will not be considered if you do not have your own office or access to an office space.
Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
Degree from a regional-accredited university.
NPs must be AANP or ANCC certified.
Current and unrestricted state practitioner's license with no pending criminal case.
Complete credentialing applications with additional documents submitted within 2 calendar days of invitation.
Complete required ~16 hours of VBA video PAID training plus agency training w/in 7 days = $400, w/in 14 days = $250, w/in 21 cal days = $100.
Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet company, local, state, and federal standards or policies.

Pay: $500.00 - $800.00 per day
