Full Job Description

Ivybrook Academy, a progressive Montessori and Reggio Emilia inspired preschool, seeks a highly qualified, dedicated and passionate Curriculum Director. In this very rewarding position, you will assume responsibility for creating and maintaining an educational, loving and nurturing environment for our families and educators. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong understanding of curriculum and a clear commitment to the highest of standards in early childhood education. He or she must have a sense of humor and understand the flexibility needed in a school setting! We are seeking an Assistant Principal who has demonstrated the essential skills required in establishing effective relationships with our educators, our parents and most importantly our students.

This position requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service. We offer a competitive salary, a large amount of paid time off and more!

Some Key Areas of Responsibility

· Oversee the school’s curriculum coordination among the educators and assist with implementation

· Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting and oversee programs and activities to engage and educate young children.

· Develop open lines of communication with educators, parents, and students—and conduct one-on-one meetings with parents to discuss each child's progress.

· Build and support a qualified team of early childhood educators to continually enhance our superior reputation in early-childhood education.

· Participate in marketing events, campaigns, and community relations.

· Provide unparalleled customer service

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

Experience in curriculum coordination

Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, publisher, and power point

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
