DAY INTERAL MEDICINE HOSPITALIST PHYSICIAN - Atlanta

Covenant Medical Group (CMG) — Atlanta, GA

Base Salary: $300,000+

Independent Contractor · 7 on / 7 off

On-site day shift at Select Specialty Hospital of Midtown

7 on / 7 off daytime schedule
180+ annual shifts
Manageable census with mid-level support
Malpractice Coverage

Position Overview:
CMG is a growing multi-specialty physician owned and operated healthcare group seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Hospitalist committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This role emphasizes strong clinical skills, effective communication with patients and families, collaboration with healthcare teams, and active participation in organizational growth and education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to hospitalized adult patients
Manage patient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges in a timely manner
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, specialists, and case management
Participate in and support staff education, mentoring, and clinical training initiatives
Contribute to quality improvement efforts and patient safety programs
Engage in organizational initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and service excellence
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Georgia state medical license
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
